What Are Flies?

Flies do not typically live in groups. They are often nomadic, following food sources. They often choose to make habitats in areas prone to trash and dirt. They feed on decaying matter, trash and fecal matter.
Flies are typically gray or black covered in small hairs. They have one pair of clear wings. Female house flies are slightly bigger than their male counterparts. These pests live for about one month in most conditions.
