Snow can be a real nuisance. It’s slippery, it’s cold and depending on how much you get it can cause non-stop shoveling!
But snow can also be our friend, especially when it comes to tracking wildlife across our property. A dusting of snow can reveal the path that wildlife takes, for example, a mouse. This video shot in Hamilton, Ontario, illustrates this perfectly, with the mouse trail clearly along the snow and under the fence.
This is useful for a couple of reasons:
- If you suspect there’s mouse activity around the home—here is your proof!
- It’s not always obvious where a mouse is getting into the home. Seeing tracks in the snow is a great way to identify any vulnerable entry points on a home
After the initial “gotcha!” moment, you quickly realize that you do, in fact, have a mouse problem. Now what? You call Truly Nolen Pest Control and we can advise you on the best course of action to take from this point forward.
